As a high school teacher in McAllen, Texas, his infectious love for the universe around us spills over to every class he teaches, bolstering interest among students to look further into the wonders and mysteries of space and things beyond Earth as we know it. He continuously looks for more interesting scientific facts and topics to share with others.

This dedicated focus towards aerospace and the universe is virtually what led Mark Swaim to where he is now. With his voracious appetite for news and discoveries about space and the physics of it, he has supported numerous clubs and individual students in continuing this interest in science. Everything from Einstein’s life and the Theory of Relativity, to tremendous quasars, novas, and seeking out worlds beyond Earth; Mark continues to foster the love of space in students, looking forward to the future wherein they may make their discoveries about space and introduce them to the scientific world.
